Abstract
This article explores the pivotal role of innovative technologies in the development of musical literacy within contemporary music education. As digital tools become increasingly integrated into pedagogical practices, they are transforming how students engage with music - enhancing accessibility, promoting interactive learning, and expanding the boundaries of traditional music instruction. The paper discusses how technologies such as digital notation software, audio workstations, and virtual instruments enable personalized, inclusive, and culturally relevant approaches to teaching music. Additionally, it addresses the challenges associated with digital integration, including access disparities and the need for ongoing teacher training. Emphasizing a balanced, reflective approach, the article advocates for the intentional use of technology to cultivate comprehensive and meaningful musical literacy in diverse learning environments.
