Abstract
This article examines the main aspects of socio-economic life during the period of the Samanid Empire. In particular, it analyzes the development of agriculture, handicrafts, trade relations, and urban centers. It also explores the lifestyle of the population, social stratification, and the specific features of economic policy. The article reveals the relationship between economic stability and cultural development in this period.
