Abstract
This article examines the historical and contemporary significance of independence in the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It highlights the role of independence in strengthening national identity, political sovereignty, economic development, education, public security, and international cooperation. Particular attention is paid to the role of young people and education in ensuring the sustainable development and future prosperity of the country. The article emphasizes that independence is not only a historical achievement but also a responsibility to protect peace, stability, national values, and human rights. It concludes that the power of independence is reflected in Uzbekistan’s ability to determine its own path of development while actively participating in the international community.
