Abstract

This article analyzes the international mechanisms for preserving and protecting cultural diversity in the context of globalization and accelerating integration processes. At the same time, it highlights the normative-legal and conceptual role of conventions and declarations adopted by international organizations such as the UN, UNESCO, and the International Labour Organization (ILO) in ensuring cultural rights. Furthermore, taking the experience of the European Union as an example, the importance of cultural diversity as a factor in socio-political and sustainable development is substantiated from a cultural studies perspective.
