Abstract

This article examines the issues of comprehensive study of the scholarly and literary heritage of Doctor of Philology and Professor Hamidjon Homidiy. The research focuses on the major areas of his activity, including Ferdowsi studies and Shahnameh studies, textual criticism and source studies, Avesta studies, Sufism and tazkira traditions, translation studies, pedagogy, and literary- publicistic works. Based on conference proceedings and scholarly studies devoted to the scholar, the article argues that Homidiy’s multifaceted heritage constitutes an integrated scholarly and aesthetic system rather than a collection of separate fields. The study identifies перспективные directions for further research into his legacy, his role in establishing a scholarly school, and the necessity of collecting, classifying, and publishing his works in a multi-volume edition.
