The Current State of Music Education in General Secondary Schools of Uzbekistan and Ways to Develop It

Abstract

This article analyzes the current state of teaching the subject “Music Culture” in general secondary schools of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the reforms being carried out on the basis of regulatory documents adopted in recent years, and the problems existing in the field along with ways of overcoming them. Particular attention is given to raising the quality of music education through the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies and the integration of advanced national and foreign experience.
