Abstract
This article analyzes the constitutional rights of citizens in the field of social security and their guarantees. The social security system is recognized as the main factor ensuring a decent life for citizens, and the legal foundations of the right to receive state assistance in cases of incapacity for work, old age, disability, loss of a breadwinner, etc., as established by the Constitution, are highlighted. State policy, regulatory legal acts, and practical mechanisms that guarantee the implementation of the right to social security are also studied. Proposals are also presented to strengthen reforms in this area, their effectiveness, and social protection of citizens.
