Abstract
This article systematically analyzes the scientific and aesthetic assessments of the work of the prominent Uzbek literary critic Homil Yakubov on the work of the famous writer and poet Oybek. The scholar’s views on the issues of realism, historicity, nationality, the system of images, and artistic language in Oybek’s work are highlighted, and the significance of these studies in Uzbek literary criticism is revealed. The article analyzes Yakubov’s thoughts on Oybek in an inextricable connection with the literary process.
