Abstract
This article analyzes the mechanisms of ensuring the learning activity of primary school teachers based on the use of heuristic methodology from a scientific and pedagogical point of view. Also, ways to increase the learning activity of teachers through heuristic methods such as creating problem situations in the process of primary education, encouraging independent thinking, questioning, analysis, comparison, generalization are shown. The article substantiates the didactic possibilities of heuristic methodology in developing teachers’ professional competence, forming innovative thinking and increasing educational efficiency. The research results show that heuristic methodology plays an important role as an effective pedagogical mechanism in the primary education system.
