Abstract
This article analyzes the role of psycholinguistics in modern linguistics, its theoretical and methodological foundations, and current issues. Also, the trends of changes in psycholinguistic processes in the context of digital technologies, artificial intelligence and virtual communication are assessed on a scientific basis. The article also analyzes the significance of psycholinguistics in the education system, particularly its role in teaching foreign languages, developing speech competence, and improving communicative approaches.
