Abstract

The article presents some scientific information about the life and work of the great Turkic writer Ahmed Yugnaki, his famous work “Hibatul-haqoyiq”, determines the scientific study of the work, reveals some phonetic, morphological, lexical-artistic, semantic and stylistic features based on factual materials, and determines the place of the writer in the development of the Uzbek literary language. The language of Ahmed Yugnaki’s work “Hibatul-haqoyiq” is one of the high examples of the ancient Turkic literary language. It is dominated by a simple, fluent and didactic narrative, and Arabic and Persian words are used to enhance the educational and moral content. The work often contains wise phrases, admonitions, parallel syntactic devices and repetitions. The author’s style is short, clear and impressive, and serves to encourage the reader to moral perfection. The poetic form and means of artistic depiction make the content memorable. The style of the work was formed in harmony with the traditions of didactic literature and occupies an important place in the development of Turkic written literature.
